	Hebei North University (HebeiNU), a multi-faculty university under provincial administration, was founded in May 2003, approved by Ministry of Education and combined from former three provincial-administrated institutions of higher learning in Zhangjiakou: Zhangjiakou Medical College (ZJKMC) which was founded in 1946, Zhangjiakou Teacher’s College (ZJKTC) & Zhangjiakou Advanced Postsecondary Agriculture School (ZJKAPAS).
HeBei North University (former Zhangjiakou Medical College) is recognized by WHO, UNESCO, CSC, CMC and teaches the whole course in English medium with USMLE/PLAB based exam and preparation. The University will provide provisional certificate after completion of 4 and 1/2 years course to students who want to do their internship in third country.
